The Duke of Wellington

The of Wellington,

Like Dark Star’s other pubs, visitors to The Duke of Wellington will be able to enjoy a variety of quality beers, not just from the Dark Star range but also from other small breweries, as well as classic continental beers.

The pub continues to have a special place in the area’s live music scene with live bands playing regularly at the venue.

The hosts: The pub is run under the management of Roy Chuter, who is perhaps best known as the co-founder and former general organiser of the hugely successful Glastonwick Beer Festival. He's also a great supporter of live music and as editor of Brighton & Hove Albion's matchday programme, he has a unique knowledge of football - so visitors to the pub can be assured of some lively sporting debate.

Roy is joined by Pat Bond, formerly licensee at the Stanley Arms in Portslade, Sussex - the Stanley was *CAMRA's Sussex Pub of the Year twice while Pat and her husband were in charge there.
